Walking on Water

In life there are just so many problems that surround us. For example, some of us face financial problem, relationship problem, friendship problem, family or work problems and etc. When you look at your problems, that is when you will actually fall. However, when you carry on and do not focus on your problems, you will be able to walk with confidence.
Let me give you an example. When Peter saw that Jesus was walking on water, he wanted to do the same. The moment he got out of the ship, he did walk on water just like Jesus. However, when he saw the wind boisterous, he immediately started to sink.
Why did this happen? This is simply because when he first started walking on water, his focus and attention was solely on Jesus and thus he was able to walk on water. He did not concentrate on the situation around him or what was going on around him. Peter’s focus and attention was on Jesus alone. When he changed his focus to the boisterous wind, he started to sink. In other words, he started to fall.
The boisterous wind in this story represents the problems in our life. When our focus and attention is on Jesus, we will be victorious but when we start to concentrate on our problems and give attention to it, it will cause us to fall and to be a failure. Therefore, it is important to make sure what your focus is on.
When you face a difficult situation, do not be afraid, just trust Jesus with all your heart and He will make a way for you. He has promised you that He will make a way when there seems to be no way. Are you at a dead end now? Do not fear, because there is someone who will help you. All you need to do is tell Him your problems and he will make a way for you.
Stop focusing on your problems and instead start focusing on Jesus. Trust Him with all your heart and He will make things happen in your life.
