Letting go

In life there are many kinds of people whom we will meet. There are those who are unforgiving, selfish, emotional, easily offended, hateful, revengeful; and there are also those who are loving, caring, good, patient, humble and kind. I have met these kind of people along my journey. And they have taught me a lot of things about the 'real life.'

When we meet someone with such negative qualities, we should not blame them. It is the devil which is working in them. What we should do is, we should pray for them that perhaps one day God will save and touch their hearts. Besides that, we should forgive them and let them go if they have offended us or hurt us.

Whatever hurt or damage a person may have done to you, it is crucial that you forgive, forget and let them go if they choose to leave. When you forgive, you will feel lighter as if the burden has been lifted from you. You will receive healing (in terms of health, relationship, family, personal etc.) and blessings in many ways in which may not even realise. You must learn to put all bitterness away.

Moreoever, when someone chooses to leave and to walk away from your life, let them walk away. Release them and do not force them to stay. This is because they have the right to choose whom they want in thier life. If someone wants to walk away, let them walk away. They are never tied to you in the first place.

Right now there may be many people you are thinking about whom have walked away from your life. You must remember that no matter what happens in life, we must get over it and keep moving forward. No one is tied to us and they can leave whenever they choose to. All you need to do is to hold on to God and keep trusting Him by feeding on His Word continually. Do not think about your problems and sadness. Keep on rejoicing in the Lord. Giving praise to Him and keep thinking about Him and His word.
